 Finally getting my pride and joy I really wanted to make the most of my iPad. I am not a power user and I just assumed that Apple would have given me a step by step manual to help me use this technical marvel. So you can image my surprise when there was nothing in the box other than the hardware. 

In a way this was a good thing instead of being stuck with fumbling around for some guide that really did not pinpoint exactly what I wanted to do I went searching. This is when I realised lots of other people were have the same problem and unfortunately many people were offering up ideas and help much of which wasn't technically accurate and so was counter productive I was getting sick of spending a LOT of time visiting forums help sites and so called experts and I wanted to save other people the trouble. 

What I wanted were all the instructions in one place where they were easy to find. Also, I want the information to be well organised, detailed and specific. There is nothing worse than clicking though a myriad of different sites to find a general guide that is no use to your specific situation. I had, had enough!

After lots of searching I finally found place where all my technical conundrums could be answered. This power user had gone to the trouble of creating well over 100 short videos on how to complete specific tasks using the iPad. Thank heavens for that! Not only did he include all these videos he had also produced a very complete instruction manual.

What I was not expecting was how much fun the process of learning new operations and functions of the iPad was. Presented in such a way that you can not help but laugh with some of the interesting instructional videos. Who said that learning had to be tedious. Also, being in video I can just pause and play which greatly speeds up the learning process because I can tailor the instructions to my own speed. 

Now, I get a real kick out of showing my friends how to do almost anything on the iPad. It is really funny to see their bewildered faces as they gratefully take advice from me. Before discovering this instruction manual and video set I was the one asking all the questions! This instruction manual has really empowered me in ways I had never thought of.

Instruction Manual for Apple iPad

How could a company that has produced so many fantastic products forget the instruction manual.
Some people would say that an istruction manual is unnecessary, but if I buy an electric toaster it will always have a manual included. I think the iPad is a little more technically savvy than a toaster and yet the instruction manual is missing.

The Apple iPad has so many great features which include a retina display, 10 hour battery life, over 300 000 apps, Face Time HD camera with iSight voice commands with Siri a 5 mega pixel camera ultra fast wifi, iOS and iCloud and they think the average user can get the most out of this without a manual?

Ipad Beginnings - Where is the instruction manual?
